Interested in recruiting a team of multidisciplinary students from the faculties of engineering, arts and science, and commerce to help work through challenges in your organization? Students are selected through a rigorous process testing their problem solving ability, teamwork and professional skills. We draw upon the knowledge of experienced consultants, industry partners, and past participants provide training and mentorship.
Selected students develop creative solutions to difficult challenges and realistic, practical plans to implement them.

Volunteer Consulting Group (VCG) provides pro-bono consulting services to non-profit organizations in the community. We are looking for high-achieving students with excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team-work skills who have a high degree of professionalism and who we believe to have the potential to be successful consultants.
Volunteer Consultants, current undergraduate and graduate students, will assist with all aspects of client engagements and are responsible for supporting the team through their personal contributions of ideas and tasks. They are expected to attend and participate in team meetings as well as fulfill any responsibilities assigned to them, which may include but are not limited to the following.
Volunteer Engagement Managers, current MBA candidates at the Rotman School of Management, are responsible for providing the team with leadership guidance throughout the course of the client engagement. They are expected to perform the same tasks as the Volunteer Consultants but with the additional responsibility of managing the team. Responsibilities assigned to them include, but are not limited to the following.

We are looking for professionals from the consulting industry with an interest in the social sector and a motivation to act as Engagement Advisors or be a Lead Advisor (note, we recommend having past experience in leading teams for this role).
